iOS 13 Will Come With Cow, Octopus, and Emoji Face Animoji

Ever since Apple released the iPhone X with Animoji feature, it has added new Animojis every few months. Recently, the company released iOS 12.2 with a bunch of new Animojis. With its upcoming iOS 13 update, Apple is expected to introduce more new Animojis.

As per developer Stroughton-Smith, Apple will be introducing new Animoji as a part of iOS 13. The new characters include a cow, octopus, mouse, and emoji face.

It looks like iOS 13 might get some new Animoji: a cow, octopus, mouse, and an emoji face. That last one sounds like it has potential for shenanigans /cc @_inside

The emoji Animoji is the one that most people are going to have a lot of fun with. As for the mouse Animoji, it is possible that Apple will debut a Mickey or Minnie mouse Animoji with iOS 13. The company already offers a Mickey and Minnie Mouse watch face on the Apple Watch so it could very well work out on the licensing aspect with Disney on this.
Our Take

While the introduction of new Animoji is always welcome, I cannot help but feel that Apple needs to open up Animojis for other platforms as well. By limiting Animojis to iMessages, Apple is greatly restricting its reach. Imagine the fun people can have if they could Animojis on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networking sites.

There are ways to do so but they are not that elegant and a bit too cumbersome for frequent use.Sponsor ads:

Remove iTunes Backup Encryption with Password?

The iOS device encourages and promotes security, its tight security framework accounts for backup encryption with passwords which allows you to save important data f and prevent it from getting into the hands of prying eye. iTunes is designed to automatically provide encrypted iPhone backups once you check the box. If you forget or lose your password, it is impossible to remove the encryption. It almost impossible to uncheck the “Encrypt iPhone Backup” without a password as well. However, this method will only work if you still remember your password. You can remove iTunes backup password on iTunes itself with these few steps:

Connect your iOS device to your PC with a USB cable and start your iTunes .

Select your iOS device icon in iTunes and select the summary tab.

Under the “Backup” icon, uncheck “Encrypt iPhone backup” option.

Enter your password to confirm the encryption removal.

Use iCloud Backup as an Alternative

If you lose or forgot your iTunes encryption password repeatedly, then it is best to remove the backup password. There are also some other ways to avoid this and one of them is using iCloud as your backup instead. An iCloud backup will back up your iPhone data automatically once you turn on the feature. There is no need to input a password for the backup. However, the con is that it has only 5GB free storage, if you want more storage, you will have to pay a monthly fee.

You can use iCloud backup by following these steps:

Connect your iOS device to a wi-fi network.

Go to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > iCloud Backup.

Tap “Backup Now”.

Note: You can check your backup by tapping Settings > iCloud> Manage Storage > Backups.Sponsor ads:

b. Update/Downgrade iTunes

If you did not update iTunes and the “iTunes can’t verify the identity of the server” issue occurs randomly (you can open iTunes most of the time), then it is recommended that you update iTunes to the latest version. You can either update from iTunes itself or simply uninstall the current version and then download the latest version from Apple’s official website and install it.
If the problem occurred after updating iTunes, then it is recommended that you uninstall it and then install the previous version (downgrade).

c. Tweak iTunes Automatic Update Checking

This is another simple fix. It may or may not solve your issue, but it is worth a try. Follow these instructions:
Step 1: Open iTunes
Step 2: Navigate to Preference and untick the option ‘Check for updates automatically’
Step 3: Now tick the option again
Step 4: Restart iTunes

d. Keychain Access

Step 1: Close App Store and iTunes
Step 2: Open Keychain Access by navigating to Finder > Applications > Utilities
Step 3: Under Keychains, navigate to System Roots > Category > Certificates
Step 4: Now find the certificates that show a blue dot and a plus sign and then perform the following step in each of them:
Step 5: Open the certificate and click on the triangle. It will be shown next to ‘Trust’
Step 6: Choose ‘no value specified’ option in ‘Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)’
Step 7: Close the certificate and then open it again.
Step 8: Now choose ‘Use System Defaults’ in ‘When using this certificate’ option and then close the certificate. The plus sign and blue dot will disappear.
Step 9: Close the Keychain Access. The problem should be solved now.

The Main Causes of the iTunes Can’t Verify the Identity of the Server

Following are some main causes of the problem:
  • This issue may occur if the server iTunes is trying to connect is not the official server.
  • The host file of Windows is blocking iTunes from connecting to the internet. Some workplaces do this by putting internal resources in the hosts file.
  • The problem may also occur due to insecure HTTP requests being sent from iTunes to Apple, even if you have already patched your Windows’ HOSTS file.
  • Windows Firewall or some other third-party software is blocking internet access of iTunes.
  • There is a problem with Windows proxy server settings.
